The paper industry is feeling the impact of the disruption to the global supply chain. The inability of mills to meet the demand for paper, rising prices for pulp, fuel, and freight, and a transportation shortage are factors. Collectively, they are driving paper prices up and increasing delivery times significantly. If paper issues have become a pain point for you and your customers, join us as we discuss Paper Pains - An Update on the Paper Crisis

Our presenter for this session is Mark Pitt, Executive Director for the Printing and Writing Papers, Pulp, and Tissue Sectors of the American Forest and Paper Association. He is responsible for developing and coordinating policy and market advocacy that drive informed decisions on issues including sustainability, competitiveness, environmental reputation, product standards development, and statistics for AF&PA members. He also leads the Postal Affairs issues at AF&PA.

Mark represents AF&PA at the USPS Mailers Technical Advisory Committee and previously served as Chairman of the Consumers for Paper Options Coalition. He currently sits on the Board of Two Sides North America and is active in the 21st Century Postal Coalition and USPS senior leadership Association groups.

Prior to joining AF&PA, Mark was an executive with Glatfelter Paper Company, serving in sales, marketing, and new product development roles.
